About Us
We are committed to providing you with a memorable and enjoyable stay with us. We will provide you with information on what to do and where to go. We can recommend cafes and restaurants in the area. Please do not hesitate to ask us about anything.
The B&B is situated in a small hamlet 2 kilometres from Fursac, where you will find a boulangerie, a charcuterie, a couple of bars, two restaurants, and a small supermarket. It's easy to walk into town and admire the banks of the pretty river, perhaps paying a visit to one of the two churches in town.
Fursac is actually an amalgamation of two towns - formerly St Pierre de Fursac and St Etienne de Fursac, and were previously separated by a branch of the River Gartempe.
There are many walks in the area, some starting right outside our house. We will also be pleased to take you to the starting point of other walks. Of course, we will pick you up as well!

The B&B is run by Mick and Ying Foord
We moved to this pretty part of France in 2013 and love this area for its tranquillity, peace and beauty. It has the best air quality in the whole country and is a undiscovered region that deserves to be much better known.
Mick has done many jobs in his life but the most important one was working at a post office as that's when he won the table tennis championship! He has the cup to prove it and would love to have a hit with you when he has time.
Ying has also done a few jobs, including a music teacher and an academic manager of a language school in Canterbury. She is a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language.
We have a rescue greyhound, Henry, who is the soppiest dog you could meet! Don't be fooled by his size - he only wants to greet you like a long-lost friend and lick you to death.
